Things are falling in place with el scripto. The structure of the screenplay has been revised and am I having some fun now. I am trying to pair up the characters and find their chemistry before it gets to the casting point. I actually find writing the transition scenes (the slow time) more difficult than writing non-stop action. Pacing is critical with any script or story, but it’s also important to take the time and have the audience soak up the characters, otherwise there will be zero emotional payoff later in the story.

That is the problem with most of movies made today. The movies are centered around the primary character and everyone and everything else is sacrificed. So much so, that by the end of most movies the audience could give a crap less if everyone, including the hero dies horrific deaths.
