Hot Tub Time Machine

Last week a script sold for “six figures” (and I doubt it sold for $100,001, most likely $500,000) to MGM. It’s Title: “Hot Tub Time Machine.”
Yes, someone saw that Harvey Birdman episode and thought it would be cool to make a movie out of a gag from a cartoon on Adult Swim.
I can see them casting Will Arnett and eh, some other bit player as the leads; two guys who have lost their Mojo and travel back in time (in a hot tub) to get it back.
So not only did the authors rip off Harvey Birdman, they ripped off Austin Powers.
Should be a hit.
